The Middle East is a region where automobile is king and fuel is cheap, frequently leaving little reward to discover more of walking around.

But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one business is making the most of the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, already their client-list consists of McDonald's.
